Originally designed in the form of a traditional rock garden, there have been many changes to the planting over the years.
As a maritime garden, subject to wind and salt spray, with dry well drained soil, Mediterranean, sub-tropical and drought resistant plants grow well, alongside native plants that have adapted to the environment. Annual bedding plants provide splashes of colour during the summer months.
